Who Were the Poor Performers forChelsea Last Night’s 1-3 Loss toSouthampton?

Chelsea suffered their fourth league defeat in eight games and their second home defeat of the
campaign as they fell 3-1 to Ronald Koeman’s well drilled Southampton side.
The home side started brightly and took the lead thanks to William’s brilliantly whipped free kick,

but Southampton controlled the game from that point on and earned an equaliser just before
halftime.
Jose Mourinho
The visitors went for the jugular in the second half and demolished the Chelsea backline with an
attractive brand of attacking football, to which Chelsea had no answers and eventually collapsed
with little fight.

1. Begovic

He wasn't at his best but really didn't have a goal that was 100% his fault.

2. Terry
The Chelsea captain gave out the second goal to mane when he called at the ball for not just cause

3. Cahill
Made crazy mistakes that had Chelsea defence unavoidable open and disordered

4. Ivanovic
Have been at his worst form this season loosing balls to opponents, failure in accurate crossing and poor defending. Seems almost all Chelsea goals this season have been from his side

5. Azplicueta
The only player in the defence line up whose mistakes are rare. Yet he isn't at his best. His runs ain't as it was last season coupled with his poor touches

6. Ramires
I believe the coming in of Magic to replace Ramirez was a great error from the special one. Ramirez has been in great form this season despite having less of the starts.

7. Fabregas
Indeed Chelsea's midfield was built around him last season but on the last match he was almost lost in the game. No creative passes was
recorded by him yesterday

8. Oscar
The Brazilian was the only outstanding player last night despite his few number of mistakes. He made crazy runs and had great chances that he created

9. Hazard.
The EPL player of the season have been struggling to revive his team. His touches, runs and dribbling isn't at its best. He gave away the ball that cost Chelsea the third goal.

10. William
His set piece gave Chelsea the lead the needed. He have scored in his last three matches for Chelsea and have been awesome this season on set pieces.

11. Falcao
The striker took on Costa's place but couldn't defend his wing. He was too reluctant and too midfield dependent. He wasn't at his best.
