Stonebwoy – BET AwardWinner Wants Country ToInvest In Artistes

Best International Act, winner at the
2015BET Awards, Livingstone Etse
Sakley, popularly known as Stonebwoy
has expressed his desire to see his
country invest in artistes.

“We need to invest in our artistes,
everything takes money; even the
government of Ghana takes loans so
how much more a single artiste” said
Stonebwoy, while answering a question
on what Ghanaian musicians should do
to develop their individual arts to make
them more internationally acknowledged
at Hitz Fm on Tuesday.
Stonebwoy continued, “An artiste is just
a person and I represent a country so I
believe that if anything it should be the
country that should invest in me.” He
further went on to let his fans know that
he and his management are currently in
talks with KIA for an ambassadorial
deal. In his words, “they approached us
and we are in talks, if it goes through,
the whole of Ghana will know.”
Finally Stonebwoy also indicated that
his fans should expect a lot of exciting
things like a collaboration with Nigeria’s
Burna Boy and AKA in the coming
months.
