Ozar secondary school, Asa in Ukwa West LGAof Abia State is scene to a chaotic episodewhen a student who was sent home by ateacher Mrs Njoku to barb her hair, regroupedwith her mother and elder siblings to attackteachers and students who were having theirstudiesThe JSS two student, Precious Nwadike wholooks like an overfed spoilt brat had earlierbeen warned by same teacher two weeks agoto barb her hair but she did not heed to thewarning. On arrival to school on Monday, thestudent was asked to go home and barb herhair, she left immediately only to return twohours later with the mother and four of hersiblings who marched straight to the staffroom while also commanding the teachers tocome out.
Furthermore, the mother of the student, MrsNwadike held a teacher, pulled her clothordered the sons to cut her hair.Theintervention of another teacher, Mrs Osuagwuprovoked the sons and one of them,Ucheknotted and almost strangled her.But thequick intervention of students, led to a free forall fight as Mrs Nwadike and children werefully prepared.
A youth corp’s member serving in the schoolwho pleaded anonymity had to alert themilitary personnel. Their quick arrival atschool calmed the situation and doused thetension.
